About this Project

This training was one of my earlier projects in 2020 when we were looking for various ways to reach students virtually during the peak of COVID-19. My goal was to show how to use various mobile technologies pedagogically as well as well as practically. I wanted to show examples of activities that take place through just the mobile device, as well as ones that integrate with an LMS. We discuss other means of classroom delivery, how to work with mobile technology in both synchronous and asynchronous settings, group activities and student collaboration.

Abstract

Embrace mobile technology by learning various ways to use mLearning in your classroom activities. Students tend to spend a significant amount of time on their mobile devices and this training focus is on how to productively implement them into your pedagogy as well as your LMS. Join me on this mobile journey through learning theory, best practices, and specific tools/apps to enhance your classroom experience and how to meet students in their mobile space.
