About this Project

In education, the end of any semester or class run can be very stressful for university employees; especially and most importantly, faculty. In lieu of that, I pitched an idea to my team to run a series of short trainings (30mins) relevant to supporting their ‘end of semester’ needs. As courses get copied from term to term, some LMS’s create unnecessary and unused materials that can make a course appear ‘messy’. This short training explains how and why this happens, what to look for, and how to clean out your virtual classroom so it always stays nice and organized for each course run.

Abstract

It’s that time again. After the cold, dark and gloomy winter, spring is the perfect time of year to blow out the cobwebs; throw those windows open, let in the fresh air, and start the spring cleaning! The same can be said when you spring clean your eLearning. Assessing what to keep, what to let go of, and what to repurpose should be done with a refreshing and open outlook to help establish the usability of your courses.

Join me for this quick 30 min session where I have some easy spring-cleaning tips for you to consider this summer. They are prepared for you to customize for the digital spaces you already inhabit and hopefully enhance your day-to-day routines.
