About this Project
In education, the end of any semester or class run can be very stressful for university employees; especially and most importantly, faculty. In lieu of that, I pitched an idea to my team to run a series of short trainings (30mins) relevant to supporting their ‘end of semester’ needs. Since we rely so much on student feedback to improve classes, I designed this training focused on how to make the most out of your course evaluations by learning some implementation tricks, how to create your own meaningful questions, and ways to sort through your data to improve the classroom experience for both students and faculty.
Abstract
Student course evaluations: three words that often spark strong reactions from new and experienced faculty alike. Students ignore them. Faculty avoid them. Despite their mixed reputation, student course evaluations can be transformative for faculty who embrace the process and use the feedback for improvement.
Join this quick session to learn some tips on how to make the most out of your course evaluations to enhance the student experience, and hopefully yours as well.
